Introducing Online Customer Service

We are pleased to introduce Customer Service Online, where you can request a service, ask a question, report a problem, access your utility account and more—24 hours a day, seven days a week using your internet connection. The system has many exciting new features for your convenience.
 
Using the Online Features you can:

  • Manage your account easily using this link: www.sanjoseca.gov/customerservice
  • View your account balance
  • Access other account information such as transaction dates, charges and types
  • Set up the Automatic Payment Service (APS), which allows the City to automatically debit your bank account to pay your utility bill

Computer monitor, keyboard and mouseSoon you’ll be able to pay your bill on-line or through the automated phone system.
If you are a new online account user, you will need to register for a User ID and Password using your new account information found at the top left hand corner of your most recent bill.

Useful links include:

  • Let Us Help—allows users to submit questions, request services and report issues of concern, whether they are utility-related or involve other City business such as abandoned cars, graffiti, etc.
  • Search for Information—useful for general questions or for information not found in the Frequently Asked Questions section

Garbage and recycling collection WILL occur on Columbus and Veteran's Days (10/9, 11/10), but will NOT occur on Thanksgiving (11/23), Christmas (12/25) and New Year's Day (1/1). Collection will be one day later throughout the rest of the week during these holidays.
