4th Annual Greenlight Earth Day Film Festival

The City of San José, Palo Alto, and Sunnyvale are pleased to announce the 4th Annual Greenlight Earth Day Film Festival, a celebration of Earth Day featuring film projects that explore environmental citizenship and show how individual actions can reduce our environmental impact. Films featured are produced by local artists, with an emphasis on student-produced films. To view 2009 winning entries, visit the Peninsula Media Center’s website.

The Digital TV Transition has arrived. What should you do with your old TV?

If you choose to replace your TV, visit Recycling Guide for CRTs and Electronics (PDF format, 36 KB) for a current list of electronics recyclers for each city in Santa Clara County. You can also donate your old TV to a local non-profit organization, or if you are a resident in San José, call the Customer Contact Center at 535-3500 to schedule a large item pickup.
